Dear & i went down to our wedding studio at Tanjong Pagar 2day. We have made an appt wif them at 5pm to choose our wedding gowns & suits. Dear took half day off while i work until 3pm. Shower, prepare then set off to our Santiago Wedding Studio. Need to go down to choose & then make the alteration 4 my gowns. Will b going down again in 7 july to try out the altered gowns. The photo shoot 4 our wedding album will b on 12 july. Hehe.. really looking 4ward to it!
We were walking ard looking 4 the wedding studio. We have not been there b4. Previously it was at bugis but now it had shifted to Tanjong Pagar. Once there, the person-in-charge (Fang jie) discussed wif us the date 4 our photo shoot. After tat, we proceeded to their 2nd storey to choose my gowns.
I could choose 6 costumes. Dear & i decided on 2 wedding gowns, 2 evening gowns & 2 traditional costumes 4 me. We can choose the traditional costumes from the sample photos. There r jap, korean, spain, malay & those olden days chinese costumes. We pick the jap & spain costumes. Hehe.. wonder how we will look like in those costumes!
Next to choose will b the 2 wedding gowns. There r white or cream gowns to choose from. I dunno which to choose coz all r so nice! Dear & i chose a few while fang jie oso helped me to pick out a few. I tried out different designs so tat i will noe which will suit me best.
I feel uncomfortable in the halter neck gowns so decided not to take tat design. I tried out so many gowns. In the end, dear & i chose a tube & a spagetti strap gown. Wif the "can-can" tat i wore inside the gown, it made the gown look like a princess' costume hehe.. I like the spagetti strap gown the most among the 2. It is cream wif diamond-like embroidery & the bottom of the gown looked like feathers. I find it very sweet & sexy! Dear said i look like a "xiao jing ling"wif tat gown haha.. :>
Next will b the evening gowns. So many colours to choose from! I wan a pink gown coz pink is my fav colour. I tried out a few pink gowns & manage to pick out 1 which i like. I oso tried on light purple, green, silver & blue but cannot decide so i asked fang jie if i can try on gowns of a dark colour. She said better dun take dark colour coz will make me look old. She said i m more suitable 4 a light coloured gown coz i got a kiddy face ("xiao hai zi" is wat she said). Ha! Dear & i laughed. My heart was so happy someone said i was young hehe.. So i chose a light blue gown.
I was like trying my gowns 4 almost 2 hrs. Dear sat on the chair outside to wait 4 me, giving me precious opinions whenever i come out in those beautiful gowns. Tks dear!
Dear's suits were easy. Not much of trying coz he will bring his own black pants, long sleeved shirts & ties on the actual day of photo shoot. Dear only need to try out the size of the coats which did not take long. He looked really suave in a coat. 1st time i c him put on a coat, very handsome! Hehe.. ;)
Finally finished choosing everything! We went down to the 1st storey to make the 2nd payment as well as tok to fang jie abt some details. We were like sitting down & a lady (should b an employee of santiago) joined us into the conversation. She commented tat dear is "yan dao" & his build will have no problem fitting into any suits. Haha.. dear.. i m so proud to have a yan dao lao gong like u.
By the time everything was settled, itz already 7 plus. Had a late dinner wif dear. Really had a fun time at the wedding studio 2day though itz tiring trying out all the gowns. Itz a sweet experience 4 me & dear!
When free, i love to browse through those bridal mag as i love to c the various designs of the wedding gowns. Really didn't imagine myself to b able to put on a wedding gown 2day like those in the mag. Itz a dream come true!
