[[Baby!]]

I went to c my gynae at Thomson Medical Centre yesterday. Darling was wif me. Yes... the gd news was revealed. I m pregnant, having a little life inside me now.

It all started wif me missing my menses. I suspected something was amiss so went to the clinic. Doc tested using the pregnancy kit but it was negative. Doc said if my menses did not come after a few more days, i should go back again to check.

A few days later, my menses still did not come. I bought a home pregnancy kit to test. It was postive this time. Darling & i were delighted but at the same time oso afraid if the test was accurate. The next day when i was at work, i felt nauseated the whole morning. After work, i went back to the clinic. The doc tested 4 me & the result was still positive.

Darling & i were so happy coz we r going to b daddy & mummy! Really could not believe this was true. I wan Thomson Medical Centre so the doc referred me to the gynae there.

When i went 4 my appt yesterday, the nurse took my height, weight & blood pressure 1st. When i went in to c Dr. Phyllis, i was nervous though darling accompanied me in. She asked me some personal details & then explained the reason y the 1st time i tested it was negative but after tat turned out to b positive.

After tat she asked me to lie down 4 a scan. Haha.. it seemed tat i was holding my urine so it somehow blocked the scan. I went to the toilet & after tat did the scan again. This time could c something. Dr. Phyllis pointed to me. It was a black oval. She said i m still at the early stage of my pregnancy so could only c the pregnancy sag. Darling oso saw the little oval hehe... It was a miracle. She used the cursor, clicked at the dimension of the oval & estimated tat i was 5 wks pregnant.

My next appt is 2 wks later. She will then determine my estimated delivery date. I really could not wait 4 the scan again, wanna c if my baby had grown. The 1st trimester is the most impt period. Darling & i really pray tat our baby will b strong, healthy & happy inside my tummy :)

After the checkup, we went to Novena Sq & United Sq to shop. Our car was in the workshop so had to wait to collect it at nite. We walked ard & we saw a crowd in Novena Sq. No wonder so many pple, Jackie Chan was there. He was the spokesman 4 the newly opened California Fitness Centre & he came 4 the opening ceremony. Managed to take a few pics of him.

Oso went to United Sq coz there were many shops selling baby & maternity stuffs. Went to a shop named "Moms R' Us". It had many nice maternity wear. I bought 2 tops, 3 bottoms & a dress. Need to get more elastic band bottoms. Darling paid abt $207 & the lady gave me a free necklace & a baby magazine. Got a VIP card too coz we spent over $200. Darling said could go back there again in future to get the diaper bag coz he said the diaper bags r nice. Oso bought a classial music CD, could let my baby listen hehe...

Yesterday was really a superstar day. 1st we saw Jackie Chan. After tat we saw Chen Tai Ming & his son as well as Zheng Ge Ping, Hong Hui Fang & their children. Hehe...

Went to AMK Hub this afternoon. Bought a cute little yellow romper for baby. Oso bought Anmum (Chocolate milk powder 4 pregnant women), apple juice, strawberry jam & peach tea. Tends to get hungry & tired easily nowadays. Darling had been taking very gd care of me, tks 4 ur love ;)
