[[Shopping ;>]]

Went shopping at Orchard wif darling on Sun. Little Zenden was again left wif my mother-in-law. Orchard is super crowded at this time whereby CNY is juz abt a wk away, thus didn't dare to bring our little boy along. Trying on clothings or shoes wif a newborn baby is definitely a challenge. Guess will bring him wif us when he's slightly bigger.

Wanted to use up our Isetan, Taka & Metro vouchers. Shop ard but in the end couldn't decide wat to buy. Saw a very nice romper at "Gap". Wanted to buy for Zenden. However it was the last piece & it had a stain on it. Wat a pity.. or else i will have bought it.

Went to Far East. Itz my fav shopping spot at Orchard. Bought a pair of slip ons, a pair of flats & 2 tubes. Darling wanted to get his shoes from "Left Foot" but the designs were not as nice as last yr. Finally he found his desired shoes from "Royal Sporting Hse"- a pair of "Diesel" shoes. Saw a few tops tat i liked but so lazy to try them on coz of the long queue for the fitting room, so didn't buy.

Love shopping to the max! More shopping again this wkend:)

Open an OCBC Mighty Savers account for little Zenden 2 wks ago. These were the gifts tat he got in return. We r saving up for him now. When he grows up, he will b able to save on his own.

Zenden's car seat has arrived. Haha.. he muz b wondering who puts him on top of the box.I m lying on daddy & mummy's bed!

Notty lao gong is playing wif him, trying to make him sit upright. He looks so 委屈 hehe..

Darling is playing "helicopter" wif him, bringing him up & down. Little Zenden loves it!

[[Shopping :))]]

Went out wif darling last Sun from noon to night, without bringing our little boy. It was like back to those days b4 i give birth, whereby itz only the 2 of us. Went shopping for our CNY clothes. Little Zenden was left in the care of my mother-in-law. While shopping happily, we did miz our little baby. Kept wondering wat's he doing. Whether did he sleep, drink milk or cry.

All the shops were crowded wif pple buying clothes, shoes etc for the CNY. Long queues for all the fitting rms. Darling managed to find a few polo tees & t-shirts tat he liked. I oso bought dresses & bottoms for myself. Itz so fun buying CNY clothes 2gether as we will give each other opinions. Sun was really a shopping spree as we bought so many clothes. Oso bought an infant to toddler car seat for Zenden from Kiddy Palace, they will b delivering it this Wed. Will b going to shop again for more clothes & shoes this coming wkend.

Lunch at Pastamania. Darling had ham & sausage baked rice, wif shitake mushrm soup & drink.

Mine was tuna & bacon spaghetti wif shitake mushrm soup & drink.

Sat was oso a happy day. Darling bought me gifts tat i really really love.

The "Wedding" album tat is filled wif super nice love songs. Mascara, eyeshadow & eyebrow pencil.

[[Happy 1 mth baby!]]

My baby Zenden is 1 mth old 2day! And he went 4 his 2nd checkup 2day at TMC. Was hoping he will gain some weight. He was 2.335 kg at birth, 2kg when discharged frm hospital & 2.685kg a wk after being discharged (1st checkup). But now when i carry him, i can feel he's getting heavier & has more flesh on his cheeks, arms & legs. Coz little Zenden loves to stretch as well as move his hands & legs. He's "exercising" everyday hehe... Darling said he has muscles liao haha...

When the nurse weighed him 2day, he was 3.79kg. He had oso grown taller from 47cm to 53cm. Zenden's paediatrician said he's growing well. Glad to hear tat. Oso sought his advice on how to burp a baby well after feeding. Coz sometimes when i try to burp Zenden after his milk, he doesn't burp. His paediatrician demonstrated on Zenden & well enough, he gave a very loud burping sound haha.. Will use his burping technique in future.

After the checkup, we went to Toa Payoh Kiddy Palace. 1st time bringing Zenden out to shop. So funny. I was pushing the stroller & along the way, a few aunties looked at me & then looked at Zenden who's inside the stroller. They had the stunned look. Darling said maybe they thought how come i m so young b mummy liao. Hey.. i m already 27 yrs old this yr haha.. Bought essentials for Zenden. Saw 2 very cute rompers. Bought them 4 him too, he can wear them during CNY.

My confinement ends 2day. Super happy! I wanna go out to buy my CNY clothes. Darling is oso getting his. But dun tink we r bringing Zenden along, will leave him in my mother-in-law's place.

On the left was Zenden's hair. Darling trimmed a little bit of his hair during his full mth celebration as part of tradition. On the right was his umbilical cord stump. It dropped off on 16 Jan. Will b keeping it. Look at his fleshy cheeks :)
He is curious, loves to look ard his surroundings.He is ''rooting"- mouth wide open. He will do tat when he's extremely hungry & wan milk haha..

Zenden's full mth celebration was held in adv on 13 Jan, last Sun. It was in buffet style. Almost 100 relatives, colleagues & frens came to Zenden's celebration. He is like a superstar tat day coz everyone was taking turns to carry him & feeding him milk. Haha.. darling & i can then relax.Tks to everyone for the ang baos & gifts for Zenden, we really appreciate! And tks too for all the compliments given to him. Hope Zenden grows up to b a healthy, happy & intelligent boy wif gd character!

[[A mummy's diary]]

Took lots of pics for my little boy since the day he is born. Wanna capture his little "patterns". Whenever i c his pics, i will smile coz he has so many cute actions. So.. this will b a post full of his pics & a mummy's story hehe.. ;)

Being a mummy is really not easy, especially a mummy to a newborn coz he only knows how to communicate his needs by crying. So whenever he cries, i have to c whether is he hungry, is it he wan a change of diaper or he juz wanna b carried. I muz oso b prepared to have a lack of sleep coz of his late nite feeds. I m like working nite shifts now haha... A newborn tends to sleep more in the daytime than at nite. I m learning to b a gd mummy as i wan the best for my baby. Hope i will b able to succeed.

I m on maternity leave now so little Zenden is under my care while darling is at work. When darling reaches home, he will do his part by carrying him, toking & playing wif him, feeding him & doing the laundry. He's a gd daddy! He will oso go out to buy essentials for Zenden.

I m looking 4ward to the ending of my confinement. Really tired of eating confinement food everyday. Hehe.. but i have already broken a few rules of confinement. I showered (Cannot imagine myself not showering for a mth!), went outdoor (bring Zenden for his checkup as well as go cut my hair) & i sleep in an aircon rm. Oops.. i know these r all NOs NOs during confinement but i simply can't resist the temptations.

I wanna eat those food tat i have been avoiding during pregnancy such as chilli crabs, oyster egg, mutton soup, fried banana fritters, chin chow drink, sushi etc. For the best of my baby, i avoided my fav food for almost 10 mths! Darling promised to bring me go eat all those food after confinement! I m drooling when i tink of it haha... I oso wanna bring Zenden go "gai gai"wif darling, c if there r any nice clothes to buy for him for the coming CNY.

Baby Zenden is going to b a mth old now. His full mth celebration is coming soon. Seeing him grow day by day & gaining weight make me so happy! I wan him to b a healthy & happy baby. Recently darling & i got a little nickname for him - TP (short form for traffic police) Haha! Coz he likes to flag & move his mittens covered hands ard, juz like a TP directing the traffic wif his gloves :) Really adorable! Zenden oso can "high five" & put his hand to the side of his head when darling asks him to salute. Dunno is it coincidence.

Little Zenden... U r daddy & mummy's bao bei. "A gift of a beautiful baby is the ultimate reward to a loving couple." U r our reward & the best x'mas gift tat we got in the yr 2007. We love u very much, more & more each day!
