Brought baby Zenden to United Sq as we wanna buy swim diaper for him. Swim diapers r said to b able to contain babies' motion if they happen to poo in the water, eliminating the fear of leakage.Wearing his Pooh romper & waiting to set off wif daddy & mummy.

Reached hm in the afternoon & off we went to the swimming pool downstairs. Baby's 1st swim at our condo pool!

We brought Zenden's float along wif us. Itz still brand new, he had not used it b4. However the moment I tried to put him in his boat, he cried. Haha... my silly boy! So I carried him close to me in the water. Tink the boat can b used when he's a little bigger.
Initially when I carried him down to the water, he cried a bit. His reaction was the same as the other time when we brought him for baby swimming at Punggol Plaza. Over there, the water was prepared for him warm but the pool water was cold. Maybe he was scared of the cold water. But after some warming up in the water, he got used to it.

Not to worry Zenden, mummy will support u in the water so no need to b scared!

Zenden had a warm bath after the swim. He was really tired as he fell asleep right after his bath.
Brought him to my mother-in-law's place in the evening. Darling bought dinner frm the coffeeshop downstairs. He treated me to chilli crabs & fried you tiao wif rice. Yummy yummy! Long long time since I ate crabs.
20 May 2008 Tue... Baby Zenden's 5th mth vaccination! The nurse took his height & weight tat day. He's 66cm & 7.13kg. Glad he has grown taller & heavier. =)
Dr. Edmund Koh gave Zenden his oral vaccination followed by his regular checkup. After tat was the vaccination on the thigh. Like always, darling used Zenden's fav rattle to distract him while I held on tight to his leg. Zenden did not cry at all. Dr. Koh was amazed once again.
He tok to us abt fruits & veggies for Zenden. We oso asked abt the appropriate age to intro the walker. He told us he dun really recommend it. Even if wanna use it, shd only use it for a short period of time. Itz better for him to crawl & eventually learn to walk without the walker. I had oso read abt the many disadvantages of a walker. Thus decided not to use it.1st time wearing his Polo Ralph Lauren romper which we bought when he's still in my tummy. Back hm after vaccination wif the plaster on his left thigh!

Cooked lunch for darling. Rice wif fried egg, fish fillet, ebi prawns & veg. I cooked them 1 by 1 & then put them 2gether in a bowl. Darling laughed & said it looked like 杂菜饭 but told me itz delicious after eating. Luckily he said itz nice or else next time no more hm cooked meals of love for him haha...
