[[Baby's jab & swim]]

Darling was on leave 2day to bring baby Zenden for his 6th mth vaccination+checkup.

Zenden's measurement of growth since birth >>>

Newborn: Height 47cm, weight 2.335kg, head circumference 33cm

2 mths old: Height 55cm, weight 4.93kg, head circumference 40cm

3 mths old: Height 60cm,weight 5.81kg,head circumference 40.5cm

4 mths old: Height 62cm, weight 6.51kg, head circumference 42cm

5 mths old: Height 66cm, weight 7.13kg, head circumference 43cm

6 mths old: Height 67cm, weight 7.8kg, head circumference 43.5cm

My little prince is now taller & heavier! He has really grown. *Happy*

Zenden is so cute. He cried the moment I lay him down on Dr. Koh's table, even b4 his vaccination. When he examined Zenden, he was still crying. Dr. Koh said Zenden is it know he is going to inject him so he cried lol... He stopped crying when Dr. Koh gave him a toy. During the injection, Zenden only let out a small cry. He was smiling at his doc b4 going out of the room. Haha.. my silly boy!

2 mths later b4 Zenden's next vaccination. =)

Went to NTUC after tat. Bought Zenden's fruits & baby wipes. Oso bought 2 pkts of siew mai (to steam in the event of hunger in the middle of the nite haha!), chicken drumsticks & chinese herbs. I brewed a pot of chicken herbal soup juz now & it was all finished up. =)

Reached hm wif a little plaster on his right thigh.

Took this pic while at my aunt's hse last Sat. 4got to upload. Zenden looked so tiny sitting on the long sofa.

Zenden went for his 2nd session of swimming last Sun at Punggol Plaza. He went for his 1st session when he was 3.5 mths old, which was like 3 mths back. Was afraid he might cry during his 2nd session. But he only cried coz the lady there put him into the water & she was a stranger to him. When we went up to him, he stopped crying & began to kick ard in the water.

He was so happy playing in the water tat he swam for an hr. His stamina was better than the 1st time. The lady there advised us to bring him up & let him rest coz he had been in the water for very long, or else I tink Zenden would love to swim longer haha... When we carried him up, he cried for a while coz he still wanna swim. So cute! (;

The lady there addressed Zenden as 小帅哥 & while we were eating at the food court after his swim, a couple kept looking at him. B4 they leave, they actually came up to us & asked how old is Zenden. They said he's cute. =) Itz always heartwarming to hear such comments.

Darling's brother Desmond oso went wif us. He took videos of Zenden in the water. He sent them to me & I saw tat he managed to capture Zenden floating ard wif both his legs raised & butt shaking. Haha...

Started to perform after warming up in the water.

At 1st, he used his right hand to hold on to his right foot & kicked water wif the other.

Then the other hand oso grabbed his left thigh.

Babies r natural swimmers.

Finally both his hands grabbed his feet.

"Hehe.. I can float."

Will b bringing him for his 3rd session probably next mth. Can't wait to c him enjoying himself in the water again. (:

Btw, my best fren Shanshan juz gave birth 2day to a baby boy. Her 2nd child! Congrats! Will b visiting her & baby tomolo. Can't wait to c her cute little arrival.

[[Baby's activities]]

Brought baby Zenden for his swimming session at Punggol Plaza yesterday. Shall update wif pics in my next entry. =)

In the meantime, shall blog abt our activities a few days ago. Many pics taken! (:

Last Thur, brought baby Zenden to Sheng Siong Supermkt 2gether wif my parents while darling was at work. Put Zenden in the baby carrier. He was busy looking ard curiously at the diff types of groceries.

The next day, baby Zenden had his little adventure on the MRT. His 2nd time taking it. Brought him to darling's office in the afternoon. He was very chatty on the MRT, lots of baby talk! Compared to the 1st time, he was more talkative this time round. He even baby talked to strangers haha... A man & a lady waved hello to him & a few others smiled at him.

Zenden wanted to stand up so I put him in standing position on my lap. Upon reaching Bukit Batok, darling came to fetch us. At his office, his colleagues carried & played wif him. Zenden was enjoying himself there. =) Guess he was tired after tat as he slept in the car all the way back hm.

On Sat, brought Zenden to AMK Hub. Wanted to buy a gift for my aunt as we were going to her new hse in the evening. Oso wanna buy Zenden's fav avocado frm NTUC.

Went to BabyFox. Bought for Zenden 2 sets of clothes & a pair of beach shorts. We bought the 12 to 18 mths size although he's only a 6 mths+ baby. He outgrew his clothes very fast so itz best to buy larger sizes for him.

Bought for him his 1st drinking cup.

On the same day, my mother oso bought 2 sets of clothes for Zenden. =)

In the evening, went to my aunt's new hse for a dinner gathering. A very cosy hse & she converted 1 room to a KTV room, so nice!

My aunt gave him an ang bao for being the 1st baby to visit her new hse. She simply loves Zenden, always wanting to carry him whenever she sees him. (:
