Went out wif darling, baby Zenden & my parents 2day. My parents wanna go to their supplier in Northbridge Rd to replenish stocks for their bkstore so we followed them. For the past 2 days, darling had been searching everywhere for a mag I wan. He went to 7-11 & Shell petrol station but dun have. When he went out for lunch yesterday wif his colleagues, he oso went to the shops to search for it but cannot find. Labels: baby magazine, Baby Zenden, photos, toys
The supplier's store oso had toys so we were looking ard while my parents chose their stuffs. As itz a wholesaler, the things there were all sold at a very cheap price.
Saw a set of toys which attracted me. Super cute so we bought it for little Zenden. Zenden's new toys. He can hold his "baby concert" wif the instruments. (;
Hehe... The boss of the store said Zenden is handsome so gave him a toy for free. A cute smiling face toy which could produce funny sounds when u shake it. =)Zenden is amazed by it.
So... yesterday after his work, he came home & straightaway drove me to AMK Central juz to search for the mag though he had not eaten his dinner & shower. I volunteered to go search while he & baby Zenden stayed in the car. I went to Jubilee Popular & Jubilee Guardian but dun have. The mag was super hard to find. ):
Decided to try another branch of Guardian. To my delight, I finally found it! *Happy happy**
After I got my mag, I oso went to buy a pair of earrings coz I lost 1 of my earrings. Dunno where it had dropped to. I had been putting on only 1 earring for the past few days haha...This is the mag tat we have been searching high & low for. 
Thanks darling for being such a sweet hubby... helping me to search for the mag, driving me to buy it & paying for the mag & earrings. =>To reward my dearest hubby, bought him this for supper.

Read the Straits Times on Fri. There's this interesting article "A Swede way to boost S'pore's birth rate". Lee Kuan Yew hinted tat S'pore is reviewing itz procreation policies & could b looking to the Swedish model. I believe if itz being implemented here, it will b very gd news for parents & they may wanna give birth to more babies!In Sweden, the measures to encourage itz birth rate r so tempting. Firstly, all Swedish parents get 13 mths of paid leave. Of the 13-mth leave, 60 days muz b taken by fathers. In S'pore, mothers get 3 mths while fathers get 3 days. I believed 3 mths r definitely not enough, tat was y I quitted my job right after my maternity leave juz to look after Zenden. Fathers should at least b entitled a mth of paid leave so tat they can accompany their wives & newborn during the confinement period.I had been thru this tough period b4 so I knew tat during the 1st mth, itz especially impt for hubby to b there to give support to his wife & to help out wif the baby. Hubby's love & motivation r really impt to his wife as her health has not fully recover during the 1st mth & she has to take care of the baby. If the situation is not handled properly, it may lead to the mummy having depression. I nearly have it! Secondly, Swedish parents get tiered child allowances - from 105 euros (S$225) a mth for the 1st child, to 190 euros for the fourth child. Thirdly, companies r legally bound to hire their employees - both mothers & fathers - on a part-time basis if they wish, up to the time their child is 8 yrs old.Lastly, childcare fees at Sweden r capped at $30 a mth which is affordable. When Zenden lies on his tummy, he is now able to shift himself 360 degrees wif his hands. When he wanna take the things he wan, he will change his position to wherever the thing is. Soon he will b crawling. (: He is always interested in my hp, darling's PDA & hp, our laptops, my mouse, mousepad & camera etc. He will flip & try to reach out for them. Haha... Darling calls him the "IT boy". (; Okie... gtg feed Zenden milk. Will b back soon.** Edmund + Zenden = The 2 precious in my life **
