Lunch at Pastamania. Took a few pics but they were in darling's hp so shall upload another time. After our dinner, Zenden went on his little car ride ard the living rm. 10 Aug 2008 Sun: Darling did some tidying up of our rm in the morning. In the afternoon, we went to Causeway Pt for a little shopping. Wanna buy a thermo food flask. In future, I can bring along Zenden's porridge, soup etc when we go out. Oso bought a baby toothbrush. I can use it to brush Zenden's 2 little milk teeth haha... Bought broccoli & pumpkin for Zenden too. I realise that whenever we go out now, I no longer wanna buy things for myself. The things we buy r all for our little precious. Tink I will only buy things for myself once a yr, tat will b new clothes & new shoes for Chinese New Yr. Lol... Blue t-shirt & jeans for the outing. Forever mummy's darling! =] Zenden was engrossed in his toy. I have used the $5 e-voucher which baby Zenden won in the photo contest! (:
Bought 2 items from the online store & we opted for self-collection. They were ready last Fri.
Brought baby Zenden to darling's office 1st b4 going 2gether for collection. This time round, I drove instead of taking public transport. Scared tat it may rain, darling left the car for me so tat I can drive to his office. He himself took MRT & bus to work. It had been ages since he took public transport to work lol...
It was oso the 1st time Zenden sat alone in his car seat behind while I drove. Normally either darling or myself will sit behind wif him. He's such a gd boy tat day! He sat quietly by himself. Whenever I stopped upon red light, I would turn to c wat was he doing. He was looking out of the window. When I reach darling's office, he had actually fallen asleep!
After darling knocked off from work, he drove me to Seletar to meet up wif the seller. So happy to collect our items! They were in such great condition! =)Our lovely complimentary gift wrap from the seller.
The polo tee which we ordered. Used the $5 e-voucher to offset from the actual price.
Bought Zenden this Baby Gap polo tee. Itz meant for 3 yrs old. Shall keep it for him 1st. Next time we can tell him "this shirt was bought using the voucher u won".
Bought him a Polo Ralph Lauren shirt too, 30% off coz of National Day promo. He can wear it when he turns 2.

The next day was National Day- S'pore's 43rd birthday!
Early in the morning, we dressed little Zenden up in a red t-shirt & white shorts. Gave him a S'pore flag to hold. Took many pics of him to mark the special day.Zenden wif his flag.

Went to Bugis in the afternoon.Zenden took his very 1st photo card wif us on National Day. I like it so much! ;>
Can add to our wall collection. Plus the most recent one, we have a total of 127 cards! ^~^
From our dating days till now, I love taking photo cards wif darling. Now we can take it wif Zenden. Went home juz in time to catch the NDP on tv. I didn't really watch it as I was cooking dinner. Cooked fried rice wif toasted scallops. Darling was watching it wif baby Zenden in the living rm. A pity we didn't get the tickets this yr. Last yr, we managed to get tickets at our 1st attempt. Zenden was watching the NDP in my tummy then haha... Hopefully next yr can get to watch it live, Zenden will b close to 20 mths old by then. Zenden & his little "sports car".
Darling was "drifting" Zenden ard & he was so happy.

4 Aug 2008 Mon: Brought Zenden to his paediatrician coz his left eye kept having pus & tears. Dr. Koh said itz probably due to his blocked nose so there's an infection in the eye. Other than the eye checkup, oso let him go for his 8th mth vaccination. Though he had not reach 8 mths yet, Dr. Koh said itz ok to jab.
When the needle went into his thigh, Zenden reacted normally. When it came out, he realised the pain & let out a small cry. Less than a min, he was ok again. My brave baby!
The nurse took his measurement of growth. He's 8.4kg, 71cm & 44.5cm in head circumference. =)

Zenden's appetite for milk is back! He is drinking more milk now. Guess his gums r feeling better.
Last wk, I boiled potato soup wif carrots, broccoli & green peas for Zenden. He loved it! He could finish 1 whole small potato by himself.
Yesterday, Zenden tried fish for the 1st time. I cooked porridge wif fish, carrots & broccoli. My mum bought it at the mkt for me & a small piece cost $4.50! The fishmonger separated it into 3 portions so I can cook it 3 times.
2day I add in sweet potato to his fish porridge. The porridge filled up half of his bowl & he finished it all. Glad he likes fish coz itz very nutritious for babies.
During bath time, we no longer need to fill his tub wif water. Since last wk, we let him sit in the empty tub & we used the shower head to bathe him. We wanna train him! He's not scared at all. He even wanna catch the water spray! When darling slowly sprayed the water on his head, Zenden reacted normally. We r really amazed by him. =>
Okie... gtg give Zenden a warm bath. Will b back soon. (:
