[[1 more day to hubby's bdae! (:]]

So happy when I got to know from the newspaper tat Chinese Garden is having itz Mid-Autumn thingy again this yr. Had been waiting for the news to b out. The theme is Hello Kitty & frens, so sweet! (:

Will go there every yr. Previously was juz the 2 of us... last yr was oso the 2 of us plus Zenden who's still in my tummy... this yr will b 3 of us. Hehe...

Had plans to bring baby Zenden to Chinese Garden later in the evening. Darling left the car for me so I will b driving to darling's office to meet him 1st.

These few days had been raining everyday. The weather does not look very gd 2day. Haiz.. rain rain go away... little Zenden wanna go to Chinese Garden. Pray... Pls dun rain.

Updates abt my wkend...

30 Aug 2008 Sat... Went to AMK Hub as we wanna go to NTUC to buy groceries. Had our lunch at Sticky Rice. Ordered rice wif deep fried beancurd, soft shell crabs, fried kangkong wif chilli & iced barley.

Evening was spent at my grandmother's hse.

My grandmother took out toys for Zenden to play. He was curious wif the new toys.

I love this little family of mine. =)

My uncle bought a cake to celebrate my mother's birthday in advance. Her actual birthday was 1 Sep, which happens to b Teacher's Day too. A pity my mother is not a teacher, or else she is able to receive Teacher's Day gifts + birthday gifts = Many gifts! Haha...

Zenden was cooperative, allowing my grandmother & aunts to carry him. Previously if he hasn't been to a place for quite some time, he will need some "warming up" b4 he gets familiar wif the place & pple ard. He didn't need much warming up tat nite. Dunno is it due to us bringing him to the Mediacorp "我是俏宝宝" contest & he's trained to get used to strangers & crowds. Really can c the difference of Zenden b4 & after the contest.

31 Aug 2008 Sun... Celebrated my mother's birthday 1 day in advance. Treated her to buffet lunch at Sakura. We went to the branch in Yio Chu Kang Stadium which is only a 5 min's drive.

It was a rainy day. Zenden was dressed up in t-shirt, jeans & dino hat.

Outside the stadium. Nice yellow wall as backgrd, so bright.

Many pple were lunching at Sakura, luckily darling made a reservation the day b4. Itz a rather new branch as the renovation looked new & the air-con were super powerful.

Exploring the environment.

Soon, we began to feel the cold from the powerful air-con. Took out Zenden's jacket & put it on for him. Itz the very 1st time he's putting on a jacket. My mother bought it for him many months ago & finally he got to use it.

This little baby of mine is not afraid of cold since birth. Initially when he was a newborn, we swaddled him up in his blanket. Soon he learnt to break free from his blanket & did not like to b swaddled. Thus we covered his body wif a blanket when he slept in our air-con rm at nite (Wif the edges of the blanket tucked under his mattress to avoid him pulling it to cover his face). He was only less than 2 mths old but everytime he would use his legs to kick away the blanket & it always ended up underneath his legs. Tat time his bootees were quite loose & he would oso kicked them away. He loves "airing" his bare feet haha... Up till 2day, he's still not afraid of the cold.

I love him in jacket. Maybe itz the 1st time I c him putting on extra clothing?

Darling & my father took him for a walk to view the food. Each time he came back wif a cup of pudding.

Zenden oso got to eat, not the buffet food of course but his own fruit which I brought along. He ate a banana!

A wide variety of food & I got to eat plenty of my fav sashimi. Guess we will patronise this branch more often in future as itz so near to us, juz a 5 min's drive. Didn't know there's oso "日本村" there. I wanna go there next time! =)

On the way out, Zenden was so tired tat he fell asleep on darling's shoulder when he carried him.

My mother said we treated her to lunch so she bought this set of clothes for Zenden.

2 Sep 2008 Tue... Brought baby Zenden to my parents' sch bookstore.

Went in my father's car.

Zenden's 1st time at my parents' bkstore.

Zenden kept turning here & there to c the things but I managed to take a few shots wif him.

Though itz the Sep sch holiday, the sch was crowded. It was having chess tournament so teachers, staffs, students & their parents were there. While my mother was attending to customers, my father & I took turns to carry Zenden walk ard. I oso brought him to c the carps in the pond.

Zenden seemed very popular tat day. Many pple tok to him & carried him - the dentist, a teacher, the cleaner aunties & even the operation manager (OM) of the sch. When the OM put out his hands to Zenden indicating tat he wanna carry him, Zenden went over to him. Really amazing tat he would allow someone he had not seen b4 to carry. The OM carried him to the canteen. There's a buffet being held there. We were out of his sight but he did not make any noise. He has grown up, getting used to crowds. The OM oso said itz gd to expose babies to crowds so tat they will not b afraid in future.

Many pple there said I look so young to b a mummy. Haha... looks r deceiving. They commented tat Zenden is a handsome boy. Heartwarming to hear such compliments. =)

Tomolo is darling's birthday & he had taken leave. Will b spending his birthday at Copthorne King's Hotel. Saw the advertisement on their "Teddy Bear Wkends" so decided to reserve a rm since itz oso darling's birthday. It will b Zenden's 1st stay in a hotel too. =)

Will definitely post pics of the hotel stay soon.
