[[Zenden's day out (Part 2)]]

Part 2 ~ More updates wif pics.

16 Nov 2008 Sun... We all woke up early, including little Zenden.

After a change of diaper, he held on to his Drapolene cream & watched Doraemon on tv at the same time. Haha...

We got ourselves ready & off we went to...

KFC!

Zenden muz b wondering y were we so early at KFC?

Well... itz coz we wanna try out the newly launched breakfast set.

Shopped for a little while at AMK after breakfast b4 we went home. Fed Zenden his porridge, showered him & prepared again to go out.

At Causeway Pt...

Had a light meal at Burger King. Chicken sticks, onions rings & a cup of iced milo to share.

Hehe... Zenden's food? Nope... itz ours.

X'mas lightings were up everywhere at shopping centres!

The shopping trip turned out to b an unhappy 1. Darling & I had a tiff over something. We ignored each other from Causeway Pt till home, both of us had super black face! But we patched up the next day lol...

17 Nov 2008 Mon... Itz Zenden's 11th mth so darling took a day off to bring us all out. I was delighted & Zenden was even happier coz he loves "gai gai". When Zenden saw his daddy at home & not going to work, he kept saying "gai gai... gai gai". Wow... he knew he's going out. Hehe...

Darling had made a reservation for a buffet lunch at Sakura (Admiralty Park). Juz when we settled down at Sakura, it began to rain heavily.

Zenden oso had his fruits from the buffet. Watermelon, papaya & kiwi!

Really ate to our fill. A friendly Malay waitress who cleared our plates seemed to like Zenden very much as she was giving him lots of praises whenever she came to our table. She oso said tat darling is a handsome daddy, like father like son! Haha... he muz b beaming over the clouds. (;

We went to top up petrol after tat & looked at our little baby... sound asleep in his car seat.

He's so tired!

2nd destination after Sakura was IMM. There were so many shops there as compared to the past. My main purpose was to go to Daiso.

In the diaper changing rm. After I changed diaper for Zenden, darling put on his shorts for him.

At Daiso... Had a fun time shopping in there. So many lovely Jap stuffs!

Put on a pair of ear muffs on Zenden's head. He didn't like anything on his head now & kept wanting to take it off.

Bought toys for Zenden. A box of train set. The tracks can turn & flip when the train travels on it, a cute design. When he's old enough to play it independently by himself, he's going to have a fun time assembling it. It costs only $10. Zenden loves dogs so we bought a toy dog for him tat can walk, bark & make a flip.

18 Nov 2008 Tue... Zenden had a hair cut. He had his long fringe & side trimmed. The last time he had a hair cut was during his full mth celebration & only a few strands were cut as a significance.

After the cut... his hair can b combed in many diff ways.

Still my cute little boy. (^;^)

His hair was trimmed by hairstylist Joanna.... & yes, itz me. Lol...

Darling was down wif flu & he's on MC from Mon till yesterday. Hope he recovers soon.

Went to Hui Hwa's wedding last Sat. Pics of it as well as my wkend updates will b posted in my next entry. =>

[[Zenden's day out (Part 1)]]

Many many pics taken over the past few days. I tink I shall divide them over 2 entries - part 1 & part 2.

13 Nov 2008 Thur... Zenden was wearing a new green t-shirt so I took a few pics of him which I will normally do when he's wearing something new for the 1st time.

14 Nov 2008 Fri... Itz our block party! Itz combined wif another block so many residents were involved. A buffet dinner for all! Games for kids, complimentary ice-cream, popcorn & candy floss pushcarts were set up at the clubhouse.

15 Nov 2008 Sat... Zenden woke up early wif us as we were bringing him somewhere. Where were we going? Ans is revealed below...

Zenden's hair looked messy after he woke up.

A little smile compensated for his messy hair. Haha...

A hug from hubby is a gd way to start the day. :P

Yes... Zenden's at his daddy's office. Playing wif the calculator & self-exploring in his walker.

Brought along his walker but Zenden seemed to have not much interest in it tat day. He's a little cranky after a while coz he's tired & wanna sleep.

After we left, we went downstairs to the coffeeshop to buy our lunch home to eat. Bought lor mee & itz really tasty!

Zenden will always wanna have a look at the fire extinguisher at our basement carpark b4 going up to the hse. Well... he's doing his baby tok wif the blue thing. Lol...

Set off for shopping in the late afternoon.

Zenden was dressed up nicely in his jumper for the outing.

We headed for United Sq as I wanna go to the Motherhood fair. To my disappointment, there were only a few booths set up there so nothing much. Previously when the fair was held in Expo, so many things to buy! They had baby clothes, toys, diapers, baby cereals & other essentials!

But there's this booth selling thermometers for kids which were very useful. The thermometer can take the child's temp without coming into contact wif his forehead. U juz put it near to his forehead & there will b a reading! U can oso take the child's temp behind his ear without him looking. Thus he oso won't b disturbed from his sleep when we wanna take his temp. Can oso b used to check the temp of his food, milk & water.

We had placed an order for it online. Previously we had a difficult time monitoring Zenden's temp when he had a fever. He kept wanting to take the thermometer whenever we bring it across his forehead or into his ear, resulting in inaccurate readings. Wif this special thermometer, I believe our task will b easier. =)

Went to the food court to have our dinner. We both had Jap food.

After dinner, we shopped ard & saw this Thomas the Train ride. Put Zenden on it to take pics. After a while, a boy oso sat on it & his daddy inserted coins. Thus Zenden got a free ride, thanks to tat daddy hehe...

Itz the 1st time Zenden sat on a ride tat went round & round. He enjoyed it so much! Whenever he turned to the place where we were standing, he would look at us & give a big smile. =>

Went to Toy R Us.

The only thing we bought tat day was a 112-in-1 tv game from Toy R Us. Can play alone or wif another player. Itz under promo so we bought it juz for fun, to relive our childhood days.
