• Calls me "妈妈", darling as "爸爸" & his grandpa (my father) as "pa". Able to differentiate who is who.

• Other words he can say include "bus", "bye", "neh neh" (his own interpretation of milk when he wants it or he sees his milk bottle), "gai gai" (he will say when we tell him we r bringing him out or he sees us dressed nicely), "mum mum" (his own interpretation of food), "bear bear", "pen" (he will say when he sees a pen though itz not the exact pronounciation) & "抱抱" (when he wants to b carried). Sometimes he will say "ah" when he opens his mouth for me to brush his teeth (he has 8 teeth now). So cute to c him toking in his own baby language! (:

• He will pat himself on the chest when we ask him to make the "我是Zenden" action. When asked to "拜拜" or "恭喜恭喜", he will put both hands 2gether & do the actions. When he heard the word "tiger", he will make the "keeee" sound & clicks his tongue when he heard the word "horse".

• Can identify certain animals, sea creatures & fruits. Tested him using toys & he really can reach out for the correct animals/sea creatures/fruits. Knows cartoon characters like Pooh, Eeyore, Doraemon & Mickey Mouse.

• Can indicate number 1 using his index finger.

• Can wave, clap hands, shake hands, & do a hi-5.

• Can kick a ball. When asked to pass back the ball, he will use his hands to reach out for it & give it to u.

• Loves books, flashcards & songs. Will listen attentively whenever his fav musical vcd is being played or when I read & sing to him. Can oso flip a book by himself.

• Interested in IT gadgets such as laptop, handphone, remote control & PSP etc.

• Loves exploring wif diff toys. Loves watches too!

• Loves to b in the water so bathing & swimming r his fav.

• Observes the environment & pple ard when we r out.

• Has a good memory. When I teach him abt something new, he still remembers abt it the next time round.

• Didn't wan a pacifer since newborn but has the habit of sucking thumb (though not all the time but I hope he can get rid of this habit soon). I read up on this issue & it said tat babies will give up sucking their thumb on their own once they r ready.

• Need some warming up b4 letting strangers or pple he has not seen for quite some time to carry.

Zenden will b very happy on his 11th mth coz his daddy has taken leave to bring us all out later. (:
