[[Zenden.. Our superbaby!]]

Zenden's fever finally subsided on Sat. His fever started on Wed nite & after taking medicine, he still had fever on Fri. Darling took an additional day off to look after him 2gether wif me. When a baby is sick, the presence of both parents showering him wif love & care will definitely make him feel better.

Darling inserted the bullet medicine into Zenden's rectum on Thur nite as his temp went up to 38.5 Celcius. I salute his bravery to do it, for the sake of Zenden. I dun even dare to look at him do it, let alone insert the medicine. Zenden was so cute. He let darling insert the medicine without fuss but within mins, he squeezed it out like passing motion. But the medicine had became smaller which meant part of it had been dissolved inside his rectum.

Zenden's temp went up & down. We were tinking if he still had fever on Sat, we will bring him back to his pd. Luckily his temp went back to normal on Sat morning.

However, he is still having slight cough. Had been giving him his cough syrup for the past few days. At 1st he was still ok wif taking the medicine. Tink he's beginning to b sick of it. When he sees the syringe wif his cough syrup approaching, he will close his mouth super tightly & uses his hand to shove it away. Thus I try using his spoon to feed him & he willingly drinks it.

Pray tat he will faster recover & no need to drink medicine.

Hopefully we will not c these anymore.

For the past 2 days, I had been preparing "爱心午餐" for darling to bring to work.

On Mon was fried rice wif corns, peas, eggs & prawns. Side dish was a chicken patty & 2 fish fillets.

On Tue was white rice wif fried meat egg, veg, chicken patty & seafood rings.

I always gave darling huge servings like feeding a piggy haha... The tiredness from waking up early to prepare & cook is all worthwhile when I know he's eating the food I prepare juz for him.

As darling was at home last Fri, we cooked lunch. Prepared by both of us.

8 Nov 2008 Sat... We planned to go to NTUC to replenish groceries. Didn't wanna bring Zenden along as he juz covered from fever. Left him wif my mother-in-law instead.

Grounded for the rest of the day so I cooked dinner.

Well... finally... on Sun we get to go out. Of course Zenden was most happy he could go "gai gai" after so many days of not being able to go out. Tink he oso miz his swimming sessions wif me which used to b a few-days-a-wk kind of activity.

... no need for tat anymore as he has his personal watch now & itz a Pooh Pooh watch! A gift to him from his 姑姑 (Darling's sis). =)

We both had the same food. Ham & sausage baked rice, tomato soup & a drink!

Darling bought these for me from John Little. A pair of slippers & a whole bag full of undergarments. I got so excited from choosing the designs & colours. ^=^

Something for Zenden to scribble on. Maybe itz a pre-X'mas gift for him? We will never know wat's our 小不点 is going to come out wif. Kids nowadays r juz so creative.

Got this fruit set 2 wks ago when I brought Zenden out to the library.

I was showing the toy banana to Zenden & when I told him "this is banana", he replied "nana... nana" lol...

I was teaching him abt the names of the fruits & after a while I told him "Zenden, give me the grapes" & he reached out for the grapes! I tried a 2nd fruit "strawberry" & he oso reached out for the correct 1! I was so happy tat he is learning fast at a young age. He always brightens my day wif his little actions. =>

The next moment he stood up. He will always stand when he wakes up.

He loves standing! He will hold on to the edges of his playpen & stand up by himself. He will even walk ard his playpen. Haha...
