A pity we didn't get to tour the whole zoo coz of the rain. Didn't get to c zebra, giraffe, lion etc. But never mind, we will bring Zenden there again in future. Bought these for Zenden as itz his 1st time at the zoo. A postcard & an elephant cup! He loves the cup. He held on to the cup tightly & when we wanna take it from him to pay, he nearly cried haha... We decided to go to the zoo as the weather was fine. Haha... Look at father & son's juz-woke-up look.

Thanks to darling's 四姨 who gave us a pair of complimentary tickets to the zoo. =)
After we prepared the necessary things, off we went to the zoo. The sun was scorching hot when we reached. Lots of pple at the zoo, locals as well as tourists. Luckily we managed to find a place to feed Zenden his porridge.After his lunch, our adventure in the zoo began... (:Baby wif daddy. Itz Zenden's 1st time at the zoo.

Looking at the tigers made me tink of the sound Zenden makes. Recently when we ask him how do tigers sound, instead of "roarrrr" he will make the "keeeeee" sound wif his eyes half closed. His own interpretation is really cute & his expression will make us all laugh.At the tiger viewing area.
Then we went to the fish viewing place.

Finally 1 came up to the water.

The elephants were getting ready for the show but we did not stay to watch.
Hungry & thirsty after a long walk in the zoo. Thus we settled down for some food & drink.We shared this oriental fried rice set & a bottle of Coke. Itz $7.50 for the rice set & $3 for the coke, expensive! 
Zenden ate his sweet potato puffs & grapes there too!At the eating place. The tables & chairs r wrapped up in fake animal skins.
While we were eating, we could hear the sound of thunder. The weather really changed so fast! We quickly left after our meal. We made our way to the shop as itz sheltered, juz in case it rains. When we were browsing at the shop, the sky grew dark. It started to rain heavily juz when we were about to leave the zoo. Thus we had to wait for the rain to stop. Many pple were struck there too. Darling went to get the car later on while Zenden & I waited for him at the shelter coz itz still drizzling.
Itz a happy day! I love outings like this. (:Zenden was so tired at the end of the day. After we showered & fed him, he fell asleep.

After he woke up, we got him ready & we went out again. This time was to Causeway Pt for dinner.His "blue" dress code. Everything's blue! Hehe...
We had set meals which consist of a main dish, soup of the day & iced lemon tea. Mine was half chicken in BBQ sauce & darling's was pork chop wif apple sauce. Both were served wif salad & potato chips.Any idea where we had our dinner?
My dessert was waffle wif ice-cream. My all-time favourite! =)
Darling's dessert was almond brownie. He loves brownie.
Well... we had our full dinner at GELARE.Zenden had his dinner there too. Hehe... of course not from the menu. He had his home cooked porridge & fruit.After dinner was a little shopping at Kiddy Palace & then it was home sweet home to end the lovely day. <: ** Edmund & Zenden...
