Labels: 14 months old, Baby Zenden, COURTS, developments, IKEAZenden is exactly 14 mths old 2day! Happy 14th mth to our cute little baby! =)Pics of my Sentosa outings got to b uploaded at a later date as I will b doing a special entry 2day for Zenden. Itz a usual routine on the 17th of every mth. Hehe...Darling was on leave 2day.In the morn, we brought Zenden for his 14th mth chickenpox vaccination.He is 10kg & 76.5cm.His pd had shifted to a new place temporarily & itz our 1st time bringing Zenden there. Dr. Koh gave him a body checkup. He asked & ans a few qns abt Zenden & after tat he prepared the syringe for the vaccination. Zenden kept looking at him preparing the stuffs. Tink he knew he's going to have his jab.Dr. Koh gave a toy to Zenden. Darling hugged Zenden's body tightly & I held on to his thigh. We played the toy wif him to distract him while the needle was inserted into his thigh. He did not cry! He only made a small noise when a plaster was pasted. We had to monitor him these few days as the jab may or may not cause fever. While we were waiting to collect the Paracetamol & make payment, Dr. Koh came out of his room to pass something to us. He played wif Zenden for a while again b4 going back into his room. Dr. Koh & the nurse seem to like him, kept praising him. ;)Dr. Edmund Koh gave us this. Chocolate!
We both had the Special of the Day. Sweet & sour fish served wif rice. Itz so nice!
Zenden had a fun time at IKEA.Wif ball ball. Sticking his tongue out, so cheeky!
He loves the dog even though itz juz a soft toy & not a real 1.

He definitely enjoyed his 14th mth 2day wif the company of daddy & mummy, shopping trips as well as his fav kiddy rides. He was so happy & contented juz sitting on every of the rides though no coins was inserted hehe... His happy expressions & cute smiles in the photos said it all.He was oso such a brave boy going thru the vaccination wif no fear. =)Love him very very much...======~ Updates of some of his development from 1 yr old till now ~Words he can say (as far as I can recall): He loves watching his nursery rhymes vcds/dvds & he is so in love wif "Hi-5" recently. Whenever we say "1..2..3..4..", he will end it off wif Hi-5 like wat he saw in the programme. He had 2 dvds of Hi-5 & he loves to watch the songs & dances. He will sway to the music & sometimes wif actions. The other day, he gave me a big surprise. I only showed him the Hi-5 dvd case & he told me "Hi-5". He could actually recognise the pple performing in the show (Photo of them on the case)! He oso loves watching commercials on tv.He could associate the MRT tracks wif the MRT. When he pointed to the empty tracks & said t (short form for MRT) on his own, we were so surprised!He could recognise many objects in his books & flashcards. He could say out the names of the objects we pointed as well as getting the right pic we instructed him to find. Makes the sounds "vroom vroom" whenever he sees a motorcycle/bicycle. Points & say out the things he wan & places he wanna go.He could clap his hands in delight & pat his chest saying 怕怕 when he is scared.When we said his name, he will raise up his hand & say "到". When we spell out his name Z E N D E N, he will reply Zenden.Not a fussy eater. He eats anything I prepare & has a few fav food. Still an animal lover, loves swimming, reading, playing & exploring. Still sleeping independently without the need to pat or rock.Has excellent memory. He could remember the things we taught him even after weeks/months.Loves to imitate. Example when he sees me applying foundation, he will oso pat his cheek like me. When he sees his daddy ironing clothes, he will oso move his arm 4ward & backwards like the ironing movement.Still have to walk wif support. Tink he is lazy to walk on his own. However can walk ard on his own holding on to the sides of his playpen.He is independent when wif me but clingy to his daddy whenever he's ard. Zenden is very close to him. Tink maybe his daddy is the 1 playing wif him more while I m the 1 taking care of his daily needs (more to the educational aspects). I m the so called stricter 1 haha... But I know he loves us both as much as we love him. As much as I can remember, I hope to record Zenden's progress down so tat I can look back at them in future & c how much he has grown. :] ~ Will b back soon wif Sentosa's pics. ~
