A nice & relaxing trip. =)After this trip was somehow addicted to short holidays. 3 days 2 nites seem to pass so fast, I wan another holiday! ^^Plenty of visuals to upload. Many photos were captured as future memories of baby Zenden's 1st holiday.
The little 1 finally had his 1st chop in his passport when he's 16 mths+! I muz say he enjoyed himself thoroughly.~ Batam trip Part 1 (Part 2 will b in my next post) ~30 Apr 2009.. We woke up at 7 plus while Zenden woke up at 9 plus. Fed him milk & cereal b4 he had his shower. Got ourselves ready too & did a last min check on our luggages. It rained but stopped when we were abt to set off.Meeting the rest at 12pm. On call a cab & it arrived at 11am.Zenden's 2nd time on a cab. He's curious wif the driver.
Zenden sat btw us. The cab was super spacious! Itz a 8-seaters Sangyong cab.
Reached Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.
Little boy muz b happy... can go for a holiday. We were all excited!
The boat departed at ard 1pm. Zenden's 1st time on a boat.
Darling's sis Jeslyn & her fren Xueyun oso went wif us. Including darling's colleagues, a total of 8 adults & a baby. :)
2wards the later part of the boat journey, Zenden kept wanting to walk so we let him walk a little while within our leg rm space haha...View frm the boat.
Gave him biscuits to munch as well.
Reached Batam at S'pore time 130pm. Batam time is slower than S'pore by an hr.While walking to the arrival checking pt, Zenden fell asleep in his stroller.
Muz b very tired.
After clearing the custom, we had to take a shuttle bus to our resort hotel. Poor Zenden... juz slept for a while but woke up when we carried him up the bus. Hence his blur blur look.
Little turtle Zenden has never taken a bus b4. His 1st time!
Now the little 1 finally had a try on the various types of transport. So far he has sat b4 in a car, MRT, tricycle, cab, bus & boat. Hoping to bring him for a plane ride in future.Yeh! Reached our Batam View Beach Resort.
Hehe... the guy who sponsored baby & I for the trip. Muacks muacks!

Our rm was not ready yet so we went to Jeslyn & Xueyun's rm 1st to wait.
Zenden was enjoying himself walking here & there as well as touching this & that. He was opening the drawers as well as picking up the phone receiver saying "hello". My cheeky baby!

When our rm was ready, the staff sent the key up to us personally.
Cozy rm! We got a king sized bed. Very comfortable!

Tada! Zenden's frens Pooh Pooh & Elmo oso joined us for the trip. Hehe...

Notice the pillow wif the colourful casing? That's Zenden's personal casing wif his smells. We brought it along so that he could sleep better at nite, at least that's something he could recognise. He's so cute! He gave the pillow a few pats after we put in the casing as if tinking "how come my pillow is here in Batam?". Lol...

We were dressed casually.
Fed Zenden his lunch of homecooked porridge which I brought.After that, went downstairs to roam ard.There's an indoor children playgrd.
On the rocking horse. He sat juz a while & wanna get up. We notice Zenden dun like to sit on things which require him to open his legs apart lol...

There's table tennis. Only a table was available & there's nobody that day so we got to play. So long didn't play table tennis & itz so fun!

In the evening, we took the shuttle bus to Nagoya Shopping Centre. Fed Zenden cereal b4 setting off. The journey frm our hotel to the shopping centre was abt half an hr. Xueyun carried Zenden on her lap & he fell asleep hehe... Nite came quite fast in Batam. The sky at 6 plus was already dark.Shopped ard. Pics of the things we bought will b in my next post. Zenden had grapes, biscuits & a few strands of spaghetti there.Settled down for our late dinner.

Everytime we ask Zenden to 扮可爱, he will b posing like this. Wif his hands on the cheeks. Jeslyn managed to capture his pose hehe...
Darling drank red soda... Jeslyn drank green soda... I drank coke float... Xueyun drank hot choco (oops... 4got to take pic of her drink).
Darling & I ate the same... seafood baked rice. Jeslyn & Xueyun ate seafood baked rice too & spaghetti.
Although the baked rice was cheaper than S'pore (Only SGD $4+), the portion was little. In the end, we bought food back to the hotel to eat.Was worried initially whether Zenden could get to sleep or not in a different environment. Afraid he may cry for home. But in the end, he slept soundly after his milk. Phew!
After he slept, we had our supper. A&W! Craving for it as S'pore no longer has the fastfood restaurant. We shared a fish burger, curly fries & rootbeer.
