8 May 2009... Itz my mother-in-law's advance celebration of Mother's Day. Had buffet dinner at Sakura, Admiralty Park. Had already celebrated wif my mum, now itz my mother-in-law's turn. =)

Brought little Zenden to darling's office to meet him 1st.

9 May 2009... the eve of Mother's Day.

10 May 2009... Mother's Day! Gave my mother a set of Aussino towels. In a rush, we 4got to bring out the gift for my mother-in-law. Shall pass it to her later when we c her, a belated gift.

We were planning to go to darling's grandparents' place as they haven't seen Zenden for quite some time.

Zenden was wearing a new shirt which my parents bought frm their Kukup trip. I asked him to 装可爱 & he really posed for me. :)

He looked so cheeky.

He loves to sit like this, wif his legs folded behind. When I was young, I loved to sit like that too.

At darling's grandparents' hse... The last time they saw Zenden was when he's not walking yet but now he's walking on his own.

Zenden was busy exploring & walking ard.

Zenden loves the bedsheet coz itz full of strawberries. He kept pointing to it & said "strawberry".

My heart's melted wif juz a smile frm him.

Ard 4 plus, we left for Causeway Pt as we wanna bring Zenden to the library as well as buy his groceries.

We went to the library while my mother-in-law & Jeslyn shopped ard.

While on the way to meet them after we had borrowed bks, we came across this place selling flowers & bears etc for Mother's Day...

... & darling got this for me on behalf of Zenden for Mother's Day. This sweet little gift made me really touched!

Of course not forgetting my dearest darling, the most impt guy in my life.

I know I have said it many times but I wanna say it again... "I love u". Thank u for making my Mother's Day a sweet 1. My carebear contains plenty of Zenden's & ur love. =)

This is my 3rd yr celebrating Mother's Day as a mummy myself. =>

My 1st in 2007... I was pregnant wif Zenden.

My 2nd in 2008... Zenden was ard 5 mths old.

My 3rd in 2009... Zenden was close to 17 mths old.

Mother's Day is now an extraordinary occasion for me. I m waiting for the day when Zenden can tell me on his own "mummy, happy Mother's Day!".

Up till now, I cannot believe I have became a mummy of 1. 38 wks of pregnancy seemed to pass in a flash. Darling was telling me that I dun look like a mummy at all coz I m still very "kiddy" who will 撒娇 wif him often. Haha... I wanna b a young-at-heart mummy.

Seeing my tummy transform from a small balloon to a big 1 & then it "burst" & out came a baby, life's such a miracle. Imagine this little life growing inside me & squeezing himself out to c the world. The bond btw him & me already began when he's in my tummy.

After confinement, I gave up my job juz for my baby. Itz the job I love & I will still miz it at times. But to resign & in exchange, I get to c my baby's growing process (developments & milestones). Itz all worth it! His 1st word... 1st food... 1st flip... 1st crawl... 1st step... I get to witness all. $ can still b earned in future but all his "1st" will only come once. I m glad I have not miz it.

Being a presch teacher previously allows me to teach & care for other children. Now I m like Zenden's presch teacher, teaching & caring for him everyday. I m transferring the affection I have for other children to my own child, itz a special experience!

After becoming a mummy, Zenden is my priority in whatever I do. I will make sure he fills his stomach b4 I do... all settled in bed & asleep b4 I sleep etc. I will no longer juz think for myself, everything is juz abt baby b4 myself. I believe all mummies will have the same thinking.

B4 I end off this post, I wanna say I m happy to b a full time mummy (thank u to hubby for making this possible wif ur support!) & I love my Zenden very much. I will give him all my best to nurture him into a child wif gd character & moral values, making sure he is growing & learning well too. Of course the most impt thing is to b a happy & healthy boy, caring towards others in future. =)
