Woke up at 7am to prepare the ingredients & cook. 7am was like so early for me as I slept at 2 plus the nite b4 & I usually dun wake up so early.However the tiredness is all worth it wif juz a kiss & words of thanks & praise from him. :)Prepared rice wif crabmeat egg, veg wif shitake mushrms, black pepper chicken wif buttons mushrms & mixed veg as well as a prawn patty.
The next day 29 May, I received an email from Benjamin. He's a photograher of a particular photo studio.I have been sending in a photo of Zenden for an online photogenic baby contest organised by them. Itz a monthly contest. At the end of each mth, the photographer will select a winner. Due to the overwhelming response, itz so difficult to b selected.This time round, itz the last contest. There will b no more of it in future.I was hoping Zenden could win & when I received Benjamin's email, I was delighted! Zenden has been picked as the winner of the last round of photogenic baby contest.Zenden could receive a free one hour studio session by Benjamin, a CD of all captured images &
1 piece of 8R print. =)This was the photo I sent in.
Backdated to 16 Mar 2009...Bought a cooking set for Zenden. He loves to cook haha...
In the previous childcare centre which I worked, the kids oso all love to play cooking. Regardless of boys or gals, they all enjoy playing wif the cooking sets. Pretend play is very gd for children.Zenden's looking at his new toy.

On the same nite itself, we fixed the colourful puzzles on the floor for Zenden. They instantly became a huge mat.
They were passed down to us from my cousin. Zenden could learn walking on the mat coz at that time, he still could not walk on his own. We called it his walking area.He was making his 1st try walking on it while holding on to the table.
Now that he could walk on his own, the puzzle mat became his play area. He often sat there to play & read bks. :)29 Mar 2009... Went to visit my cousin's baby. His wife had given birth to a baby boy.Cute baby Caden, less than a mth old. Seeing him reminds me of newborn Zenden.
Darling dun dare to carry other pple's newborn in the past coz he said they r so fragile. But now he finally dared to after he himself becomes a daddy. Look at his experienced way of carrying Caden hehe...
Zenden was alright wif us carrying other baby. He's not jealous or should I say not yet haha... He juz went ard walking & exploring.
My uncle's wife gave him some things to play. Those kept him entertained for quite some time.
After that, we went for lunch at a nearby hawker centre.Zenden played for a while at the playground before going home.Zenden & his grandpa on the see-saw.

Little Zenden had been toking a lot recently & lots of new words came from him which really surprise us. He's oso doing lots of cute actions too. Shall update more abt it soon.
