Gd news came thru email last wk.
I nominated darling in the "Fabulous Dad" contest organised by Nestle Baby Club. Juz send in a photo of the daddy & child as well as write a short description of y u tink he is a fabulous daddy.
So happy that my entry was selected. Darling was 1 of the 20 fabulous dads!
In case the words r too small to b read, this is my description:
"Edmund is a wonderful & loving daddy to our little Zenden. Taking care of a baby is not easy but he is always there to help out. Since Zenden was a newborn, preparing meals... feeding... bathing... changing of diapers & clothes... washing of his items... coaxing him to sleep... playing... singing & reading to him, hubby is so "hands-on". He is Zenden's favourite companion & the bond between them is simply irreplaceable! He is our most fabulous super daddy! "
21 Jul 2009... the postman delivered the prizes rite to the doorstep.
A Fisher Price toy for the little 1...
... as well as an $80 discount voucher for a Nespresso coffee machine. 
20 Jul 2009... Darling & I brought Zenden to his pd for his 2nd dose of Hepatitis A vaccination. As usual, Dr. Edmund Koh checked Zenden b4 giving him the jab. He did not cry. :)
After that, Dr. Koh rewarded him wif a biscuit. Seem that Zenden will receive a biscuit frm him on every visit haha... Thus whenever we told Zenden we r bringing him to Dr. Edmund Koh's clinic, he will say "ah Koh... jab jab.. biscuit".
Wif this, Zenden is done wif all his compulsory vaccination. He has "graduated"! Dr. Koh gave him a certificate of vaccination. Next mth will b his optional flu jab, still considering whether to let him go for it or not.
After his jab, went to Tom & Stephanie.
Haha... look at Zenden wif the cap. His daddy put in on for him & I had to quickly snap snap snap b4 he takes it off (he dun like anything on his head). 
Yes sir!
He looks smart wif a cap but too bad, he dun like to put on cap. 
Saw this cute looking set of toys so bought it for the little 1 who's so brave throughout his jab.

12 Jul 2009... Went to 二舅's new hse. He juz moved in on that day & we had the 1st peek b4 his actual hsewarming a wk later.
Preview of what his new hse looks like. Itz a hse wif 4 storeys. Imagine how big it is. We were like "wow" when we explore the place.
Starting wif the highest 4th storey... I like it the most.
Can sit here to eat & chit chat.

2 bedrms & a bathrm on the 3rd storey.
Haha... little 1 is climbing up to the 4th storey like a cat. His expression is so cute, as if trying to say "wah... still have so many steps to climb". 
Didn't take pics of the 2nd storey. It has 2 bedrms, both wif an attached bathrm. There's a walk-in wardrobe in the master bedrm & when u walk into the master bathrm, u will b surprised to c a tv attached to the wall. Can juz lie down in the bathtub to relax & watch tv.

Little Zenden was busy climbing up the staircase. Gd training for him. He can train his muscles & gross motor skill.
His daddy had to watch over him while he climbed. Really tiring frm the 1st to the 4th storey. But little 1 seemed to have unlimited energy. 
He's enjoying himself.

B4 going to 二舅's hse in the late afternoon...
After his class, we went to Causeway Pt to get some groceries.
Let him have some fun wif the kiddy ride. No coin inserted but he still enjoyed it.

He found something in it! Something that he always uses during his art & craft session.
He proudly showed it to me & told me "glue". This cheeky boy!
B4 going off, teacher Sharon will give every child a hug as well as a chop on their hand. Zenden was going for the queue.
So far, he has gone for 8 lessons in total. 4 Chinese & 4 English. He enjoyed all of them. He can even remember what he learnt in class. When I tok to him abt it, he will b telling me so many things. I m really glad he loves sch. :)
11 Jul 2009... We were invited to the 21st bdae party of darling's bro's gf. Itz held at Hougang Community Centre.
B4 setting off...
Reached the place ard 7 pm.
Other than the buffet dinner, there's karaoke... performances & magic show.
Zenden was like the auntie's little fan. He's so engrossed in listening to her sing. Maybe he tot is his fav "黄金年华".
