[[Gifts of love :)]]

Looking 4ward to Dec as itz my fav mth of the yr.

So many events... Dec will definitely b filled wif lots of love, fun & happy moods.

Dear Mr Santa Claus is so gd & decided not to let me wait till Dec. He delivered his presents early to me. :)

My 2 gifts of love from him...

Itz a netbook!

Weighing at juz 1.2kg, I could easily bring it everywhere. Itz so small & portable!

Initially was making a hard decision between this ~ Acer Aspire One & the HP Mini. I love the HP mini coz itz in pretty pink but too bad, the screen resolution isn't that gd as Aspire One & oso not that light in weight. In the end, chose Acer Aspire One.

Mr Santa Claus got me a netbook coz my Sony Vaio laptop is heavy to bring it to & fro our new hse & my parents' place on alternate days. He said I could bring it along for holidays too. So thoughtful!

His 2nd gift for me...

A new camera in 12.2 MP. My current one is only 7.2 MP.

Itz not in my fav pink but it won me over wif its slim design, user friendly functions, high MP as well as a red that's stylish enough. It's bundled wif lots of free gifts too. =)

My current camera can still take photos but the LCD screen is a little faulty. Thus sweet Santa Claus did his magic once again.

Wondering who this gd Santa Claus is? He doesn't have to put on his red costume nor carry his sack. He doesn't have white beard & doesn't ride on a sleigh wif reindeers. But he's a special Santa Claus who made my day!

He's none other than my hubby darling!

Thank u so much darling for the Anniversary cum Christmas gifts which came in advance!

He said something that night which made me so touched.

He hugged me & told me those gifts were oso a appreciation for taking care of Zenden & the sacrifices I made. He knows taking care of a young child is not easy. I told him he is oso not easy working hard for the family. We will both work hard for our future alright? =>

Though I sacrificed my job, itz nothing as compared to b able to witness the growth of Zenden & darling can oso rest his mind at work knowing his baby is in gd hands. :)

Zenden was trying out the portable storage seat we bought.

We put this at a corner in our new hse & itz now being used as a "naughty" seat. Whenever Zenden misbehaves, we juz need to put him on the seat to discipline him. He's afraid of sitting on it & doesn't dare to come down. Tink itz coz he tried to come down by himself once & nearly topple wif the seat.

We went down to our new hse as darling needs to take some measurements.

Oh oh! Playing wif the switch & caught in action by me, thus the stunned look. Haha...

Before going out for shopping. Rather random but I love to take photos of Zenden anytime, anywhere. ;)

So many things that I wanna update abt Zenden, b4 I forget.

His language.

He's toking so much now & at times, he will b using new words which really surprise us. We will b like "wow... where did he learn it from?"

He is able to converse in both English & Mandarin. The funny thing is... both darling & I had been toking to him mostly in English since he was a newborn & only sometimes his grandparents & relatives will tok to him in Mandarin. But now most of the time, he will b speaking in Mandarin & he really speaks so well using words beyond his age. He is able to understand & speak English too but he juz loves speaking in Mandarin haha... He will oso imitate Hokkien & Teochew words from his grandparents, really funny.

He loves to sing & can sing many children's songs. At 10 mths+, he can say out his full name 苏乐语 Zenden as well as recognise pics in his bks, flashcards & objects in his surrounding. He oso knows the identity of pple ard him & addresses them by the right names. At ard 20 mths, he can say numbers 1-10 in the correct order in both English & Mandarin. He can recognise a few of them when shown separately. He knows shapes such as circle, triangle, star, heart, oval & square. Colours will b red, blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, brown, black & white.

He still loves to watch his dvds as well as the OKTO channel. Hi-5 is his fav from young. Currently he is oso into the 9pm show "Baby Bonus" on channel 8. He loves baby Olympic! Character wise, he likes Thomas & Frens. Cannot do without his big pillow which he names it as "ah pill" during sleeping time. Eats anything & fav food includes all kinds of fruits, yoghurt & cheese.

Currently he is attending wkend classes wif me accompanying him but from next yr Jan onwards, he will b going for 2 hrs daily (Mon-Fri) playgroup without me accompanying. A gd chance for him to learn to b independent.

[[My baby is 22 mths old! :)]]

17 Oct 2009... Baby Zenden is exactly 22 mths old today!

Happy 22nd mth to my little sunshine...

... with lots of love, hugs & kisses!

Today is a public holiday, thus darling has no work & little 1 has no school. Since itz oso a special day, we decided to bring him out.

We took the bus instead of driving & u know what? Itz the 1st time Zenden took the public transport wif his daddy!

I had brought Zenden out to take bus, mrt as well as cab before when darling was working. When he's not working & we wanna go out, we will always drive. Thus Zenden dun get the chance to take the public transport wif his daddy.

Today's the day he took the bus wif the both of us. He's well-behaved & sat throughout the ride. He enjoyed looking at the scenery & pple getting up & down the bus. He even sang haha... He will sing whenever he's happy.

Reached our destination!

The Splash Park @ Sembawang Shopping Centre.

Itz a combined "dry" & "wet" playground.

Changed him into casual wear to play wif water. Brought him to play at the "dry" playground for a start.

After Zenden had enough of the "dry" playground, brought him to play at the "wet" playground.

At 1st, he was hesitating abt playing wif the water. Maybe he thought that he dun have extra clothing & thus shouldn't get his clothes wet. We assured him that itz alright to play & will change for him later.

Juz watching Zenden play & knowing how much he enjoyed himself on his special day is enough to make us smile.

Playtime is from 11am-2pm & 5pm-8pm.

Zenden was playing halfway when the water supply automatically stopped at 2pm. He ran to his daddy & said "Daddy, 开水." We laughed at his cute action. Kids r really so innocent! Little 1 actually thought that his daddy could help him to turn on the water supply. He wanna continue to play!

We told him we will bring him there again in future & brought him to change.
