[[Itz New Yr's Eve! :)]]
Today is the last day of 2009, tomorrow will b the start of a brand new yr 2010! Will b going to chalet later in the evening until 2 Jan...
Last Sun (27 Dec), darling & I went shopping in the afternoon. Juz the 2 of us. Little Zenden was in my mother-in-law's care.
Went to Bugis. Shopped at Bugis Junction, Bugis Street as well as the new shopping place Iluma. Had a great time shopping. Darling bought 2 pairs of flats & a pair of slippers for me. I shall keep them until Chinese New Yr. :)
At Iluma, we passed by an arcade. Saw pple catching soft toys at the machines. Seemed so fun!We wanna have a try at it too. Bought the game card & we tried to catch the Winnie the Pooh. A few attempts failed as the Pooh's hands seemed stuck. We changed our target to Tigger. Darling was the 1 who's catching. He caught it at the 3rd attempt! We were both delighted, juz like back to our childhood days. A sense of achievement & happiness when I held Tigger in my arms. ;)
Tigger's so soft & cuddly. Zenden loves it too.
Zenden's Christmas gift from us. A blue dog from Watsons. He chose it himself & I think he chose this coz darling's bro & gf oso had the same 1. Hehe..

The other time Uncle V & Aunt D went to USA for holiday & bought gifts for Zenden too.

25 Dec 2009... Christmas. Had a BBQ session at darling's 二舅's hse. Was fun & we ate a lot. No pics taken as all were busy eating haha...
24 Dec 2009... Christmas Eve.

These series of photos of Zenden wif his Santa Claus hat are very precious as itz diffcult to capture him wif it. He doesn't like to put on a hat & kept taking it off so got to really b quick in snapping his pics. Haha.

23 Dec 2009... Darling took a day off that day as itz our special day. Our 3rd wedding anniversary. 21 Dec was our 5th ROM anniversary so we celebrated it 2gether wif our wedding anniversary.
In the morning, we set off very early as we need to go to somewhere (Cannot b revealed yet hehe). Had western breakfast there as well.
After that, we went for car servicing.
They had juz set up an air-conditioned room whereby customers can sit on the sofa to relax. We watched tv, read magazines & chatted while waiting for our car to b ready. There's only the 2 of us in that room.
After collecting our car, we bought lunch back to my parents' place to eat as itz nearby. Itz only when we reached the carpark that we realised we 4got to bring the keys. In the end, we ate downstairs at the BBQ area. Eating among the greenery, romantic hehe...
After lunch, proceeded to the new shopping centre. City Square Mall.
Shopped ard there b4 we went off for our buffet dinner.
Ate at Quality Hotel. 
The cafe. We were oso there for the buffet lunch on 20 Dec to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday.
Dinner was taiwan porridge buffet. They not only had porridge, there's other varieties as well.
The buffet was cheap & gd. Muz make reservations or else itz always fully booked.
Had DIY ice kachang & ice-cream for desserts.
Darling had already given me a camera & netbook for Christmas cum anniversary. We shopped for his gift that day. He finally found something to his liking. A pouch! 
22 Dec 2009... itz 冬至. A festival for eating dumplings.
I cooked a pot of it & this was Zenden's share of it.
In the process of eating. Let him eat it to symbolise "一家团圆".
Will b back soon wif more updates & pics. Going to chalet soon! Have a Happy New Yr, people! Enjoy the long wkend... :)

[[Juz a word of love]]
21 Dec 2004... We signed on the paper as husband & wife.
21 Dec 2009... It has been 5 yrs! Happy 5th ROM anniversary, darling!
Nothing can describe my love for u & the many thanks for taking gd care of me all these yrs. The happiest chapter in my life is getting to know u & eventually spending the rest of my life wif u. U have given the best of urself to me & in return, I will oso give the best of myself to u. Today, we have both become daddy & mummy. Our ideal family... like what we have dreamt of in the past, now itz reality! We shall walk hand in hand 2gether on the journey to our happy future... 4ever!
Love u a lot... & I mean it from the bottom of my heart.

[[Zenden is 2 yrs old! :)]]
17 Dec is an important date to us because...
... our little precious turns 2 today!
Happy birthday to Zenden! May he b healthy & happy always! Lots of love, hugs & kisses to him from daddy & mummy.
As itz Zenden's special day, darling took a day off as we had plans to bring him out.
In the morning, darling went out to buy back Mac breakfast. As Zenden was still sound asleep in dreamland, we saved a little of the "Big Breakfast" for him. After he woke up & had his milk, he's surprised to c Mac waiting for him. :)
The 3 of us got ourselves ready & off we went to E!hub, the place where Zenden could play & have fun. He knew he's going out & was so excited while we were still getting prepared. He kept wanting to wear his shoes.
At E!hub, we were happy juz watching him play. He's smiling all the way! Itz really nice to c our little 1 enjoying himself on his birthday.
On the way back, Zenden was so tired that he fell asleep right after he got into the car.
That was not the end of his celebration. We had plan no.2 for him.
We parked our car & took the MRT to Orchard. Took the public transport to avoid the town area heavy traffic. We wanna bring Zenden to c the Christmas lightings.
I had taken the MRT wif Zenden many times but this was the 1st time he took the MRT wif his daddy. He loves MRT rides!
The Christmas lightings in Orchard were beautiful! We took many photos!
Little Zenden absolutely enjoyed himself today. We were glad we were able to make his birthday celebration a happy & special one.
Happy 2nd birthday to him once again...

Backdated to 28 Aug 2009...
Celebrated my mum's birthday in advance by treating her to dinner. Her actual day was 1 Sep.
My parents, darling & I ate 2gether.
We had "tze char". The food was heavenly.
26 Aug 2009...
I brought little Zenden out to the library while darling was at work.
All ready to set off.
Reached AMK Library & Zenden was so eager to read the books.

Took out so many books, like Mr-Know-All. ;)

So difficult to take a photo wif him as he wanna get away to read his books. Haha...
Zenden loves books since he was juz a few mths old. Darling discovered it when Zenden was less than 2 mths old. At that time, he was lying beside his daddy who was looking thru the street directory. Zenden actually turned his face towards the direction of the street directory & looked at it. From then on, we bought books & flashcards for him to stimulate his interest.

We went to have dinner at Kranji Resort wif Jeslyn & Kai Jie.
Ate the "tze char" there.

Tomorrow is Zenden's 2nd birthday. Had an advance party for him last Sat wif close relatives. Photos will b up soon. Darling is on leave tomorrow & we will b bringing the little birthday boy out for some fun. :)
