[[Zenden is 3 yrs & 4 mths old!]]

17 Apr 2011.. Zenden turns 3 yrs & 4 mths old!

Happy 40th mth to my dearest boy!

He will b in Kindergarten One next yr, so fast! Could still remember him as a baby but now he is already an elder brother.

Currently he loves his Nursery class & enjoys going to school everyday. Every Sat, he oso attends Speech & Drama class. I m glad he likes learning & is able to absorb new knowledge very fast.

He knows a lot of things to our surprise & has an excellent memory since young. He can actually remember things or places which he has seen or been there before, even if itz weeks or mths after.

He's talking like a little adult & whatever he says is wif logic. At times he can really make me angry when he throws tantrum but when he is gd, he can b a really sweet boy.

Zenden wif his baby brother. They love each other! Happy that Zenden is accepting the presence of another sibling & is taking it well. So worried that time when Rayden was born & Zenden's character took a change. Jealousy & attention seeking set in.

People said that when baby no.2 arrives or when mummy is pregnant, the elder child's character will change due to most of the time given to the baby. The elder one will think his love & attention from mummy & daddy have to b shared, thus doing all sorts of things to gain attention.

Itz really a crucial period & for me, I was really heartbroken & even cried that time when I saw Zenden from a well-behaved boy became a boy who is mischievous. Luckily we have him involved in taking care of baby Rayden & make him feel that even wif the presence of another child, we didn't neglect him. Even during the confinement period, I tried to go abt taking care of Zenden's daily needs as usual like bathing, feeding & reading to him etc. Gradually Zenden likes the role of being an elder brother & he feels important when we ask him to help to attend to his little brother.

At times although Zenden may "disturb" his little brother, he is still very protective of him. Whenever relatives joke abt bringing Rayden home, he will say "cannot... he's my brother... I want him." He enjoys going shopping or outings wif him. Rayden oso loves this elder brother of his very much. He will smile/laugh whenever Zenden plays or sings to him.

The bond between them is irreplaceable...

Love them to the max! :)
